To promote intangible cultural heritage on campus and celebrate the Dragon Boat Festival, a themed event titled “Dragon Boat Festival · Building Dreams Together” was held on June 14 at the West Campus Fifth Canteen Square. It was jointly organized by Xishan Tongxin Community, NAICET’s Cross-Cultural Club, and the Western Returned Scholars Association of Guizhou University.

The event featured three hands-on workshops: fan painting, sachet making, and lacquer fan painting. Participants were invited to choose from traditional Chinese medicinal herbs such as dried orange peel, lavender, and rosemary to make custom-scented sachets, while others enjoyed painting and decorating traditional fans with their own creative designs.

Through these engaging activities, the event brought traditional customs to life, enriched campus cultural life, fostered connections among students and faculty, and helped embed intangible cultural heritage within the university community.
