On March 3, 2026, North Alabama International College of Engineering and Technology (NAICET) held the Joyful Lantern Festival themed activity in Classroom 110 of Dezheng Building, Guizhou University. College leaders, international faculty and student representatives gathered to celebrate this traditional Chinese festival.
During the activity, Chinese and international faculty and students tasted tangyuan and local special snacks, experiencing the Chinese cultural concept of reunion through delicate flavors. They joined efforts to make lanterns, learning about traditional customs and deepening Sino-foreign friendship through this interactive experience.
International faculty remarked that this immersive experience enabled them to feel the charm of excellent traditional Chinese culture in a more intuitive way. This activity further promoted the integration of cultural education and international school-running, built a bridge for Sino-foreign cultural exchanges, and enhanced international faculty's sense of participation and happiness.
