On October 23, the 2025 Freshman Orientation for North Alabama International College of Engineering and Technology, Guizhou University was held on the West Campus.
Dr. Hu Po (Vice Provost of the University of North Alabama) introduced the international education philosophy and talent cultivation goals of UNA, encouraging the freshmen to cherish their university years and be brave in exploration.
Aiming to set an example and encourage Cohort 2025 to plan effectively for their future studies, enabling them to achieve excellence in academics, competitions, and international exchanged, the college presented scholarships to students for academic competitions, overseas studies, and language proficiency. Students representatives also made speeches focusing on reflections on college aspirations and four years of growth.
Finally, Hong Yun, Dean of the college delivered a speech to wish everyone success on this new university stage, encourage them to open their hearts, broaden their horizons, and embrace all the excitement.
