On the Morning of June 16, NAICET Deans’ Open Day took place successfully in the college’s study hall.
The event was honored by the presence of distinguished guests from the University of North Alabama (UNA), including Dr. Brien Smith, Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs, Po Hu, Vice Provost for International Affairs, and Wei Zeng, International Partnership Specialist. NAICET faculty and student representatives participated in the exchange.
Dr. Brien Smith introduced UNA’s comprehensive support system for students, covering academic resources, international exchange opportunities, and career development guidance. He warmly welcomed the prospect GZU teachers and students pursuing academic exchanges and studies at UNA, underscoring his enthusiasm and support for such collaborations. Next, Guan Haoyuan, the National Gold Award winner of the International Project in the main track of China International College Students’ Innovation Competition (2024), delivered a confident and polished English project pitch, engaging in in-depth discussions with the UNA delegation. In addition, participants exchanged ideas on topics such as curriculum learning, scientific research, innovation, and international collaboration, fostering a relaxing yet dynamic atmosphere.
After the gift exchange session between UNA and GZU, Dr. Po Hu praised the success of the Open Day and expressed optimism for the future development of the college, as well as deeper cooperation between the two universities.
